What do you think is the most underrated album of all time? For me it would have to be:
Neutral Milk Hotel - 'In The Aeroplane Over the Sea'
or Bloc Party - 'Silent Alarm'.
Most Underrated Album
"What do you think is the most underrated album of all time? For me it would have to be:YES! Agreed!
Neutral Milk Hotel - 'In The Aeroplane Over the Sea'
or Bloc Party - 'Silent Alarm'."
A fellow fan of one of the best records of the nineties on the forum. Fantastic.
"I don't know why it's not considered the best Who album, let alone the best album ever..."Because Tommy is better!
Nirvana's Bleach ... while probably more well known out of albums listed in this thread, its Nirvana's most underrated album.Their best in my opinion.
Broken Boy Soldiers by The Raconteurs.
Rust In Peace.By Megadeth. Its better than Master Of Puppets.
While I'd like to agree with Arkthemaniac, I'm gonna have to say The Who by Numbers instead.
It's a great album with some really honest, raw songwriting and fantastic, stripped-down instrumentation. The fact it doesn't have a bad song also sits in its favour.

Oh wait...
I do agree with In the Aeroplane Over the Sea.
But I think Amnesiac is a highly underrated Radiohead album.
"I do agree with In the Aeroplane Over the Sea.That is true. I listened to it again it wasn't nearly as bad as everyone pegs it to be. The reprisal of 'Morning Bell' is a little unnecessary though.
But I think Amnesiac is a highly underrated Radiohead album."
"Arkthemaniac said:My butt it is!"I don't know why it's not considered the best Who album, let alone the best album ever..."Because Tommy is better!"
"Arkthemaniac said:I'd have to agree, though Quadrophenia is second for sure."I don't know why it's not considered the best Who album, let alone the best album ever..."Because Tommy is better!"
And I'd say Europe '72 by the Grateful Dead is pretty underrated. Also anything by the 13th Floor Elevators.
"VilhelmNielsen said:Yes, exactly. Tommy is better, but Quadrophenia is excellent as well."Arkthemaniac said:I'd have to agree, though Quadrophenia is second for sure."I don't know why it's not considered the best Who album, let alone the best album ever..."Because Tommy is better!"And I'd say Europe '72 by the Grateful Dead is pretty underrated.
