Moving sucks.

I had to spend my entire sunday preparing for my move to an actual house (I live in an apartment). And man, I feel so damn tired right now.

How do I end my day? Sit back and relax eating milk and cookies while listening to some Testament (for those who don't know who Testament are, they are classic 80s\90s Heavy\Thrash Metal).

So I just turned an ass day into a good day. At least that is what I'm telling myself:P.

dude, you're moving to an actual house, be happy and curse at that crap apartment that you're leaving behind.

I KNOW. THAT IS THE AWESOME PART.

But the cleaning out part is just so tedious >____>.

The cleaning out part sucks big time. We've done it twice, and we are about to do it again about 2 months.

Get drunk, that 's what you do.  I had to move all 4 years of college and it sucked.  Since then--made a conscious effort in not moving.  Of course, the next time I move--I'm hiring movers/packers to do all the crap for me.

Yeah, get used to moving.  I've moved 5 times, twice across the country.  Come to me and complain when you have expierenced that type of horrerful fate

I had to move 3 times in less than 2 years.  Shit sucked big time.

I might even be moving AGAIN not too long from now.

i moved country once and then moved to another place within that country in the space of less than 1 year.

life's all good now, though... so i'm kinda grateful for that

eh, if you guys think all that's bad, my mom is a realtor and I have to constantly go to places and "stage" rooms with our "staging" furniture.  So that means I have to move furniture IN, even if it's a condo with tight hallways and stairs, knowing that afterwards I will have to move it OUT again.  We had this massive leather couch for staging, took three to move it, sometimes four... because it was such a pain to move we sold it to some rich guy, moved the damn thing into his place, now he's renting the place out, so we had to move it back out... we can't get rid of it, it's cursed.

Hey at least you did not have to leave all your material belongings behind as you fled in fear of your life.
And moving isn't so bad... You meet new people, and see new places.

I have moved many times in the last 10 years, and I am planted here in my home, Jersey, for now and I am probably not going to move again. Still, yeah, moving does suck, I know. At the very least, setting up a new house can be fun, it is just that cleaning and heavy labor come with it. You know, I would suggest unearthing some old box that you packed up and marvel over it. The last time I moved, I spent a day perusing the massive Rolling Stone/TV Guide/Game Informer/Nintendo Power collection that amassed in a dark corner of my closet. It was a lot of fun ;)

@mracoon: I actually have moved Country, I currantly live in Germany, which I moved to from the states. I've lived here for close to 5 years now.

I just moved recently as well and it was cold and raining almost the whole day.  It SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!!!

 Have you unpacked yet? That is by far the worst part.

I moved Just last year in November From Wisconsin to Illinois. The move Sucked big time.

@ParanoidFreak: I'm moving on Thursday, but yeah, the unpacking is going to suck. I'm positive.
