My roommate is a bum

She doesn't pay the full part of her rent.  What should I do?? 

Post naked pictures of her on the site.

Does she grant you sexual pleasure? Otherwise, kick her out.

If she isn't paying her rent completly, tell her so. Its not like there is any real way around that conversation. Unless this is a one time thing and she had a good excuse.

At the very least post a regular picture of her, that way we have a better idea of what we are dealing with...

I would say a sitcom esque line down the apartment and she's only allowed in the amount she pays for.

Strike a deal with the landlord and turn off the things she doesn't pay for, like hot showers or electric outlets.

Well, you could start posting images of her... but I don't imagine that's a great idea. It'd be funny though, and some people would love you forever for it. Whatever, but simply ask her about it. Maybe she had a legitimate excuse for it, and it was a 'one-off' thing. If not, try and not get pissed off, and tell her that she can't keep not paying the rent. You can't afford it on your own and all the rest, and then see if she will start paying her rent.

Drop random words like PAYMENT and MONEY and SLEEZBAG into random conversation. This will cause her subconscious to pay the rent for you.

Yeah that was my original post...she has trouble paying.  Well it's just something I have to talk to her about I suppose, like people said.   "

Serious suggestion:
 
The first few times you catch her when she's free, politely ask why she's having trouble.  Make it a point to say you can't keep covering for her, but don't threaten her the impending doom of kicking her out.
 
If she's extremely late or doesn't pay her share the next bill cycle comes around, just let her know she has 30 days to find a new place.  That usually snaps people into reality and if she still doesn't keep up after this, you really should consider finding a new roommate.
