Actually I find it an "improvement" over other Axe commercials - it "objectifies" the chocolate man just as much as the women and it's silly.
I don't like Axe commercials because they have all these women fawning over men - I'm just worried about that sweaty overweight guy thinking "If I dump this on, women will love me!" so now he smells like sweat and axe.

I think the complaint is that commercials in general are more geared towards males. Let's say the perfume/cologne commercials are about equal. Then there's beer commercials, then there's that Twix set of commercials where women are all dingbats and will believe anything a man says after he eats a Twix, etc. There are others, but I've been trying to tune them out over the years, and when the commercials go on, I read a couple of pages in a book.

It probably is demeaning to women, but there are plenty of adverts out there that are demeaning to men. This is an example of equality at its finest!!!!

I saw this commercial while on break at work, when it was over everyone said "What the hell?" in unison.
