I have just recently discovered this and watched a few episodes, and its fucking hilarious. I love the commentary on some of the movies that they watch. My favorites are Zombie Panic, with Adam West starring in it " Would it be better to have the speakers inside the car?" Another one that I liked a lot was Girl from Lovers Lane, "He is an easy target, hell I want to beat him up too!"
What were some of your favorite episodes?

Creeping Terror will always hold a soft spot for me. It was one of the first I bought on VHS back in the day when I first discovered the show. It's one of the more consistently funny episodes, with a good joke every thirty seconds or so.

Goofy ass movie, too.

Yes.  Look at my avatar.

Watch Girl in Gold Boots.  It's one of my favorites.  and Night of the BloodBeast.  Those might not be the exact names, but close enough.

And you gotta watch The Wild Wild World of Batwoman just because that movie is completely insane.  Chances are after watching it you'll try to kill yourself.

Three words, man: Red Zone Cuba. But then any movie by Coleman Francis is gonna wanna make you off yourself at some point.

Manos: The Hands of Fate is also legendary, but it's mostly awful because nothing happens. Even when things are happening nothing happens.

Space Mutiny is a must.  Among the true classics are episodes like Mitchell and Manos:  The Hands of Fate.

Space Mutiny fer sure. Plus I like The Incredible Melting Man, because even the video cover of that film used to creep me out as a kid. These days, though? It's totally MST3K-worthy.

I never cared too much for Mitchell, the only great part is when Servo goes nuts when the man and boy are arguing. That was beautiful.

Yea that show was great. If you don't already know some of the guys are doing alternate commentary for current movies. That way they don't have to buy the rights to the movie itself.

The rest of the MST3K alumni are doing a very similar thing called Cinematic Titanic. I've only bought a few episodes but it's been more of the same goodness.

one of the greatest shows to ever grace television. i have every single episode including stuff from the KTMA days.  I make it a habit to watch Santa Claus Conquers The Martians every holiday season.

Is it just me, or does a thread about MST3K pop up every couple of weeks? It's almost as if.... a pattern is developing...

This requires further investigation. Expect updates.

I've an MST3K fan since I was a little kid. I think my favorite episode is probably "The Dead Talk Back" it's this really cheap black and white murder investigation movie in which a scientist tries to create a radio that talks to the dead. I highly recommend it.

God there are so many great episodes! What's everyone's opinion on Mike vs Joel seasons? I like late Joel and early Mike, from 4th to 6th season.

The one episode I remember was when they were commentating on Clash of the Titans. All i remember was that it was pretty hilarious.

I can't name specific episodes because I just laughed like crazy regardless of what they were watching.  Great show, great movie...and RiffTrax still just isn't enough for me.  =  (

Did they ever release DVDs or VCRs? If so, I saw it like a decade ago, and forgot about them until recently when a friend of mine told me about them.
