Such as, heavy metal, alternative metal, nu metal, progressive metal, death metal, technical death metal, melodic death metal, blackened death metal, doom metal, black metal, thrash metal, folk metal, symphonic metal, power metal, grove metal, viking metal, pirate metal, or metalcore?

@trillian: The description about band members being put in a glass tube reminds me of Megadeth's Hangar 18 music video but I'm sure that's not what you're looking for. Sorry but I don't recall seeing a video like that. It'd be best if you can describe more and what else you can recall. Is it Nu Metal or Classic Metal? Did it involve rapping? Was it in a sci-fi situation?
