Maybe this isn't the best place to ask, but I don't know where to ask. I'm not in love with NeoGAF, but it's one of the sites I regularly visit, and today I notice it has no DNS entry at ALL. No entry on wikipedia discussion. I've looked it up on other DNS servers, and it's like they let it expire. Is the site done, do they still have an IP they can be reached at? I know there's some overlap in the communities.

Here's what whois says :
This domain name has been suspended due to invalid Whois information.

In case anyone wants to know the IP while NeoGaf sorts its DNS problems:

NeoGaf IP: 72.52.200.115

/etc/hosts or etc/hoste file entry:

72.52.200.115 www.neogaf.com neogaf.com

edit: they are currently trying to fix something as far as I can tell... so now it redirects to .net, so add this as well:

72.52.200.115 www.neogaf.net neogaf.net

Me too.. its such an unorganized site, It takes forever to find a certain topic and it so active, in the time it takes someone to write a post the entire topic can derail... its just too inflated

I don't. It's the one site you can get all gaming news and most of the time faster than 90% of websites. A fair few developers and journalists post there too so it's good to see them talking.

Yea I just check out NeoGAF because they do occasionally give out some good news. If you could turn NeoGAF into a Joystiq type site and remove all discussion it might be my 2nd favorite website under Giant Bomb.

That's like every gaming site. Ever been to GameFAQ or Gamespot forums? They are a MILLION times worse.

For the people saying they never got approved, it took me 6 months.
