NFL Fantasy Football

Hello peeps,

I want to start a fantasy league with you fine people. I could not find any other thread for a league this year so thought I would start one up!

I would be looking for 12-14 people, can do more people and/or be commissioner for more than one league if there is demand.

I was thinking of half point ppr but all rules can be up for debate with whoever wants to play.

Also would be up for starting a keeper league for peeps who are fantasy crazy like myself.

I look forward to screaming and cheering at the same player simultaneously because I inevitably have him on my roster in one league and am also playing against him in another. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Side note, what timezones are you folks in? Would a 9:30pm ET draft work for everyone? @cotsygero - as commissioner I'll leave it up to you to make the final decision, but figured I'd get that conversation started!

Thanks for the feedback. Looking good so far we have 7 people. Will wait for some more feedback. If you guys know any way to promote the league to other bomb fans, feel free to do that.

@Big_Denim yeh we will work out the kinks once we have enough players. I'm open to all suggestions and will make sure everyone can take part in the draft.

I'm new to GB, but I would be down to play! I'm a long time fantasy player and would love to get in another league.

We're at 11 people now. Up to you. That may gain more attention than you want and then two leagues would be necessary. Up to you of you want to manage that!

Great work people, we have 11 already so I'm gonna get started on the rules of the league. Il put up some options and just let me know your favourite.

For point scoring I think we are set on half point ppr so we will leave it at that.

For which site to use: EPSN, CBS, YAHOO or other

Team set up:

Normal; QB,2RB,2WR,TE,Flex,K,DEC

2QB; Same as Normal but with 2 QB

Superflex; Same as normal but flex allows TE&QB.

Other

Type of league; Seasonal redraft or keeper. I don't think I will be able for a full dynasty but it would be cool to get a giantbomb keeper league going.

Let me know what ya think and if you don't care about set up, all good! Just be ready for the draft!

Since we now have nearly 14 people I went ahead and made a 14 team half point ppr keeper league for us on espn. I agree with @bigtimesandwich that espn is the best site.

Whoever owns "team lecour", I do not know what happened but you managed to put your team in twice so I will be kicking one.

So we have 12 teams in the league which is great, I will leave the link up a little longer to try get the final 2 spots filled, if not I will change it to a 12 team league.

I can add polls on the ESPN message board for our league so keep an eye on that as I will post possible times for drafts. There are probably different time zones so want to try and accomadate everyone.

Anybody seeing this message thread and still wants to play, please still leave a message here or feel free to dm me. Please be advise that to create another league we will need at least another 5/6 players and we can try double up with people who want to play 2 leagues but there is plenty of time left so do let me know if you want to play!!

I’m not in whatever chat you’re all in, but did you just change the rules of the league after I had to play the one seed in what was supposed to be a 2 week aggregate playoffs??

Curious if this is still a going concern. Either way, I'd like to see what interest might be out there assuming we can even play in our dystopian present of course.
