Apparently there is a number of people who believe that Obama is Antichrist. Here's just a few quotes I took from my Bible about the description of the Antichrist. You can see, some of them do match, but you have to stretch it really far to put them together. I'm here to shutup those people, not help them. He's not the antichrist. I know a lot of yall are atheist, I'm not trying to start an argument about the authenticity of the Bible, I'm just here to use the Bible to refute any claims that Obama is the Antichrist. I did not vote for Obama, I disapprove of him, but he is not going to wreak havoc on the world and cause the end of the world with only 144,000 survivors who will make it to heaven. Actually, George W Bush fit the description a whole lot better than Obama does- but still not antichrist.
I'm religious, so I pulled out my Bible and looked up the description of the Antichrist(actually chapter 13 of Revelation, the chapter that physically describes the antichrist)... The only description that really matches Obama is "The people worshipped him", "He rose up out of the sea"(Came out of nowhere)and he "Held the position of Great Power".- But this is really broad...
"Having seven heads and ten horns. Upon his horns ten crowns"- no matter how you look at it, I don't see a match here. He doesn't have 7 heads, and I don't see any horns. You really have to look deep for this description to match Obama- there are 10 Supreme Court Justices, but that's really stretching it. And there are 7 members of the Board in the Federal Reserve. So maybe they could use this since the problem is the economy, and The Fed runs the economy.
"There was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies"- Well yeah it fits, but that's just about any politician right there
"And he opened his mouth in Blasphemy against God"- I haven't heard him do this
"Power was given unto him to continue for forty and two months"- I don't think so. Because he has power for 48 months not 42.
"And it was given unto him the power to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given to him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations"- Ok I admit this one matches pretty well, since we're the most powerful nation in the world, and other countries were pretty pleased with Obama.
"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men"- No he doesn't, unless he's referring to missiles or bombs as "fire".
"And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast"- This is George W Bush all the way, not Obama. He deceived us into thinking Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and Al-Qaeda was in Iraq. And he had the power to attack Iraq because of 9/11.
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads"- No he hasn't. That was moreso Hitler, but not even Hitler since the mark was only for jews, and on their right ARM not hand.
The following are from chapter 1.
"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."- 666. I don't think there is anything at all that we can use to give Obama this number.
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son"- There are A LOT of people that deny Jesus is the Christ. This could be so many people it's not even funny. Some people claim that Obama is not Christian though, so I had to put it here.
So you can see, you really have to stretch the words in the Book of Revelation to put Obama as the antichrist. I can see how some people might think that Obama is antichrist, but these people REALLY stretch it, moreso than any other christian I've met.
