I happy that when this semester ends I will be able to buy a lot of the games I have missed this year and play them. FIrst, I am getting Dragon Age: Origins this week for $40 at Target, but I won't be able to play it until later.

You should have been on steam, could have got it for $37 a few days ago ^_^ It has been a nightmare the last few days because of their holiday deals, and i cant use my credit card again until it ends :(

Wow your right. Christmas has really crept up on me since this first year of University has had me really preoccupied. I knda want an iphone for xmas though, I already have all the consoles I care about (360, PS3) and I have no need for a wii.

Sorry i keep forgetting that game came out on anything but the PC. You should still be able to enjoy the story though as it is the best part of the game along with its voice acting. My first game was as a evil homosexual male dwarf commoner warrior that took 6 sec shy of 55 hours, and i just finished play through two as a bi-sexual female human noble rogue that took around 30 hours. The 2nd game i skipped a lot of the talking parts as i knew every thing that was going to happen, and i avoided a lot of the side quests as i just wanted to see how the game reacted differently to my new race.

I'm about to start game 3 soon and i think i will try a city elf mage this time. Thanks to mods on the PC i can still have the city elf story but respec into the mage class, as i found the mage intro to be kind of boring -- funnest class to play but not a very interesting story-- despite going into it hoping it would be the best. I highly recommend the city elf, dwarf common or human noble intros as they are very interesting, i haven't seen the Dalish elf or dwarf noble intros yet so i cant say how they play out. The biggest difference i found in each game is not so much the origin choice as is your race.

What ever choice you make you should have a lot of fun. I know the whole time i played it i was almost as happy as this kitty!

On the topic I'm just looking forward to finally having some money again, despite most of it going to bills. Maybe if steam does another kick ass deal like they are doing now i will be able to get a few games.

yep and we have semester exams before the break so I guess thats a good thing (back then we started exams on the tuesday we come back from the break)

I'm happy about Christmas this year because after 3 months of living in a small room in a flat with no cash for games, my terrible cooking and a bunch of noisy, messy flatmates I get to go back to my family's nice big house where I'll get good meals, presents and best of all the chance to see my friends again.

This comment wins, although I have the games, but not the time.
I used to sit and game for hours, where's all that time gone.
Screw you counter-strike for wasting many hours that could have been used for other games.
Typing this only brings me to the realisation I have more work to finish before I can game, then an exam, then most of Xmas will be spent with the gf, where am I supposed to game?!
