Phelps came first in his latest race, the 100m butterfly final with a time of 50.58, Milorad Cavic came in second with a time of 50.59. Apparently Cavic didnt touch the wall hard enough. Just look at this:

Kind of.. but I don't see Cavic's hands touching in those shots. And this isn't me being a patriotic Phelps fanboy. You'll see in previous threads that I've hoped for Phelps failure. But I'm not going to debate a touchpad. Cavic floated in, Phelps stroked in. I can understand Phelps winning.

Cavic tried to glide in, and Phelps stroked in and beat him by a hair.  Watching the video is much more helpful than those pics.

As stated by everyone, Phelps should have lost but Cavic got lazy and thought he was far enough ahead, and Phelps got lucky.
