Hello duders, there comes a time in every forum's life to post pictures of our glorious pans! Or pots, or skillets, or whatever you cook with. Don't be shy, and try to keep them in focus. No judging here, this is a safe space.

I'll get us started.

Oh man. I have to resist. If I were to do this, I'd take up the entire first page.

Strange enough thread, but a good excuse to show off my cookware. These are Cuisinart DSI Induction Ready 8 and 10 inch skillets. They are oven and dishwasher safe. I've never used anything better then these. They are versatile, resilient and stylish. Of course, there are better skillets out there from Cuisinart or Calphalon, but considering this set cost me $70 and has no wear or tear, I'll take it. It too has made very delicious stakes, chicken, salmon, etc etc.

I have a a decent amount of cookware, as any special recipe calls for a very specific set of tools. I am also a cook, so it helps to have the stuff.

I got Grandma's Griswold cast iron skillet from the 1920's after she died about 15 years ago. This hasn't seen soap in nearly a century.

I know you're jealous...and now hungry. The rest of my cookware isn't anything worth showing pictures of - it's all cheap, heavy, and functional. Fuck All Clad.

@mb: You're living the dream there with your cast iron. I've considered getting a new one and seasoning it myself, but it would be missing that je ne sais quoi. And frankly there's nothing better than having memaw's own and not some from random prohibition era bro. That cow is proud to be in Valhala.

Suddenly feel as though I need a new pan. I have an old pan that I don't even use that is kinda greasy and ugh. Then another pan (small skillet) that's just fine, I guess. I'll take pictures later. Gonna go reevaluate my cooking-wear life decisions, thank you OP.

Hmm, what about a grill thread? Can't make it now, but I would.

Fuck. Where were you 6 months ago? My roommates used to keep the filthiest fucking stovetop. Would have loved to show that thing off. Grease everywhere. Just a full pot of grease sitting there 24/7 365, layered with grease. The metal of the burners was all ripply from all the caked on grease. French fries and crumbs of fried chicken all over the place: under the burners, hidden around the nooks and crannies. My stovetop was Sloth incarnate.

@development: Your whole kitchen was better seasoned than MB's 1920's cast iron. So magnificent.

The new induction range and the mess of pots that live under it including some nice stainless ones from the mother-in-law.

I'm not going to go and take a picture of my pan but I have one of these bad boys. Fucking indestructible cast iron heavy master pan. You can heat it hotter than the sun and even put it in the oven and it sears shit like unbelievable. Forgot non-stick loser pans they can't do shit this is the real deal. After moving to this pan it is so much better, no being careful not to heat a non-stick pan too fast or being forced to use a lower heat you can just blast the fuck out of this and it is great. You just need a little oil and to wash it soon after use and it is way more durable, reliable, and viable. Non-stick pans need to be replaced every few years due to the surface degrading but cast iron will last forever.
