Obama will tell people that McCain didn't want to debate him because McCain is afraid of a debate. McCain will tell people that because Obama didn't want to postpone the debate, that means he doesn't care about the economy. Obama will harp on "four more years of bush / voted with bush 90 percent of the time." McCain will harp on "not ready to lead / painful tax increases."
Both will practically claim that if elected they'll be able to wave a magic wand and fix the US economy, and both will basically say that if the other guy is elected, it will lead the country into complete economic ruin. Both will use their "last word" segments of various questions to drop huge accusations against their opponent that have nothing to do with the question they were responding to, and both will have to use their time on the next question to cry bullshit over those accusations.
I'll watch the debate in disgust, and then I'll hop on factcheck.org and realize that I can either vote for the liar, or I can vote for the other liar.
Prediction: tonight's debate is going to be a mess
"Or you can vote Socialist with the hopes of breaking the system. "I go with Socialist, Socialist countries do better then other types of countries
So far, McCain is being ridiculously stupid. He's making a big deal about the 3 million dollars that taxpayers are paying which goes to waste, while the Iraq war costs $10 billion dollars monthly. He's obsessing over spending efficiently when he wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years if need be.
Every political debate is like this. The two candidates can't say something foreign (like a new tax plan), or else the other one will jump on him for it.
He's obsessing over spending efficiently when he wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years if need be.That's as much bullshit as McCain's ads telling people Obama will lead to painful tax increases. He's not talking about a 100 year war, that would be insane. http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/dnc_vs_mccain.html

Anyways, I think... wait... wat. Did McCain just make an Obama-Bush comparison? WAT.
Seems like McCain has been a bit off-message, but Obama didn't particularly impress either.

Particularly laughable was Obama talking about he has more war experience then McCain.
Neither of them did well at all, and both of them made some ridiculous statements.Agreed. This debate was really quite even. I'm just thankful it wasn't quite as bad as I was expecting in my original post.Particularly laughable was Obama talking about he has more war experience then McCain.
