profit question

how do these guys make money?
im totally clueless

They're going to start having advertisements soon, they mentioned it in a Podcast.

They will advertise other sites and they will give them money

cuz i remember in another podcast they said the site is gonna be like comicvine and they dont have ads
also their old podcasts are pretty long so i may have fallen asleep and missed some of it

Yeah, there is going to be ads but the ads will be stuff that we the users will probably want to look at and it's going to be put on the site to not look unattractive and not for pop-ups to come up every other second. So the ads won't bug you (much).
