You know how when it's sunny out, people say: what a nice day it is. Well, I think it's also a nice day when it rains. I think a grey sky is just as beautiful as a blue one. Anybody else prefer rainy days over sunny ones?
It rains a lot here in London, and I like it, What I like is the smell it kicks up, and the idea of everything being cleansed. I wouldn't go as far as to say I prefer it though, I just don't mind it.
I prefer rainy days. It's nice and cool and there's that rainy day smell that puts me at ease. Plus I don't burn up at work because I work 90% of the time on the parking lot so cool weather helps.
I much prefer rainy days. I love the way rain sounds, I love the cooling effect it has on the air, I love that it makes it a little less bright outside.
Rain only gets to me after a week straight, but where I live I almost never see that. I wish it were raining right now.

It has rained a lot here recently I'd agree, mind you always does around Wimbledon time. I've just moved to the Isle of Dogs and although that river looks pretty, it fucking stinks after 3 or 4 days of heavy rain!
I like rain way more than sun. The colors outside are nicer and I'm always in a better mood. When it's raining really hard I tend to fall asleep because it sounds like the white noise machine I use to fall asleep at night though. Not good during math tests :-(
I prefer them. I live in California where it's almost always sunny, drives you insane after awhile. Plus I have some eye troubles, so my eyes are really sensitive to light.

@ErgoProxy77: Sometimes I like the rain. I enjoy being in the rain for some reason but I usually don't like it after it rains unless it is sunny. I just can't can't stand it when it is wet and cloudy out side.
Ugh, I hate the rain, I just hate getting wet and all. But I guess where I ive, there's snow everywhere for half the year on the ground, so I don't see rain often. But nothing beats the sun, just sitting on the grass outside, looking at a clear blue sky, feeling the heat from the sun on your skin. Come live where I am, freeze your ass off for half a year in -40C temperature, and them tell me you would rather have rain than sun!
I like it best right before it rains when the whole sky is dark and everything has a really calm atmosphere to it. Once it starts raining though I don't like it because you really can't do much but stay inside and you have to wait for everything to dry up outside to really do anything outside.
I prefer rainy days to sunny days but than again you could say i am biased. I like the smell of the rain and the sound of it a is drops on to the tin roof.
I like rainy days, except if it's raining when I'm on my way to work since it's a 30 minute bike ride and I hate having to walk around in soaked clothes for several hours when I get to work.
i like sunny days better then rainy days. it was just raining yesterday. for like the past month it has been raining so i don't like to see it anymore.
