I don't have a lot of actual comic experience so not a lot of meaningful memories of the man, what I do have is that time he savagely roasted Rob Liefeld and Todd McFarlane for being young hacks.

RIP, you had one hell of a run.

While it's incredibly sad news, I take some comfort in the fact that he's finally found peace and is reunited with his wife Joan. Excelsior.

RIP to a legend. I think the moment it will really sink in is the first time I see a Marvel movie where he doesn't have a cameo (so either late next year or early 2020).

I'm sad that we've lost a true legend, but 95 is a pretty darn good run. Excelsior, sir.

Goodbye to Stan, the man. 95 is a damn good run for anyone; we should all be so lucky. I remember first hearing him in the finale of the Spider-Man cartoon and not understanding the significance of who he wasn't until later. Hopefully we get two last cameoes in Captain Marvel and Avengers 4.

I hope it was a peaceful passing. Beyond that, the dude had a hell of a life, both in all he accomplished and the length of time he stuck around, so there's nothing to mourn there. Instead, I'll celebrate and remember with a 21 Marvel movie salute. (There have to be at least 21 Marvel movies out there at this point, right?)

Hard to feel too sad about someone dying at 95. He had a great run of it; here's to you, Stan.

What an amazing life he led. He stood by what he believed and chose to think outside the box and try something society frowned on at the time. Passed peacefully after 95 years, and impacted hundreds of millions of people both directly and indirectly with his work. We should all be so lucky, R.I.P.

What an amazing life and an amazing guy. To start something you're passionate in, see it grow and move and inspire people, then go on to be pretty much the biggest movies in the world. Stan Lee has been an inspiration to me and he will definitely be missed. Not a good year for comic legend deaths with Steve Ditko passing too, but their legacy will live on!

Great life and really married for seventy years. That is a rarity as well as living to 95. May he RIP!
