Ryan Banned From ustream

Well this sucks.... they suspended Ryan's uStream account apparently... due to copyright infringement?

Since when is it illegal to showcase products in live streams? So when the news catches glimpses of a Starbucks in the background, they're supposed to be liable for potential suits, as well?

This probably explains the move to jtv. 
 
I think this is actually great since the quality and screen resolution on jtv is so, so much better.

I find this hilarious because I steam completely illegal content on ustream on a weekly basis.

This has nothing to do with the switch to Justin.tv, this is his personal account that he uses to stream he and Jeff's commute home. Someone holding a grudge probably reported him or something.

Videos of Ryan Davis getting banned from UStream can be found on their servers still. I was watching live when it went off air.

Ryan is banned at the end of part 2. They where talking in the car with normal radio music going in the background when the stream was interupted.
 
This looks to be payback for Giant Bomb not using UStream to host their Thursday Night Throwdown stuff anymore.

Ryan was streaming via his iPhone, to clear up any misunderstandings.

That's pretty fucked up.  So they banned him over what exactly?  Some music playing in the background? 
 
Yes, I'm sure that Ryan was trying to pirate copies of music to people over Ustream.  Giant Bomb's evil plan is finally coming around full circle!!!

Yes it seems they where banned for having the radio on while in the car, that was the last thing they where doing before the account was banned. They where talking to each other over the radio and ustream banned them for having the radio on. Again the only reason they would do that is if they where still pissed that Giant Bomb moved their Thursday Night Throwdown to Justin.tv and Whiskey Media no longer using their website to host their live events.

Yep this is probably what happened. It's pretty easy to get falsely suspended on streaming sites like jtv and ustream. "
