After seeing this image on Coonce's gallery, and then looking up that Screened.com is currently owned by Whiskey Media's CEO, it looks like this is the name of the new movie/tv website Snide and everyone else has been hinting about.
Also it looks like its coming this month according to this interview from Whiskey Media's founders, along with 2 other sites by the end of the year!
Anyone else can't wait??
Screened.com - Whiskey Media's new movie website
I'll definitely hit up Screened.com -- but I've still got my fingers crossed that Whiskey Media unite the profiles for all their sites. I'd post so much more on the other sites if my GiantBomb username and profile carried over.
I was thinking that they should do a a movie based site. I'll probably participate for a while, and then not so much when it becomes too popular. Which it likely will, because there are a lot of people who like to talk about movies on the internet. Even more so than video games. I'm not saying movies are more popular than video games, even though that might be the case, but I am saying that people who are avid movie fans like to talk about movies more so than ppl who like vids like to. Example: How many ppl know who Roger Ebert is? That guy gets a lot of hits on his blog. Now how many ppl know Jeff Gerstmann?
I personally like my communities small, personable, and niche.
Holy crap. They better get to hiring some more engineers. I love Whiskey sites but they already aren't the most reliable sites in the world.

Because I explicitly agreed to the rules of giantbomb.com only, not any other website. You'd have do agree to all of them, and they probably differ in some details.
" They are trying to build up a complete network of sites - remains to be seen what it can offer that IMDB doesn't though. "Forums that you can browse without having to be logged in; a site which doesn't look like a complete sloppy mess...
Anyway, I'm kind of interested, but it's been a while since I've actually watched any movies.
Finally! I find myself talking about movies on OT much more than video games here on Giant Bomb so this'll be great for me.

Not the greatest choice of name but still pretty cool, I can't wait.
I haven't really checked out Anime Vice or Comic Vine, but Giant Bomb and Tested seem to have a similar attitude as far as their editorial goes. If this new website has the same attitude, it would be awesome. I think that we've all known that the movie website was coming for a while. I'm wondering what the other websites will be about. Maybe television? Maybe? And?
" This will be like IMDB but with a working forum. This is a good thing. I really like Tested and am looking forward to Screened, I wonder if it will deal with television or just movies? "This will be IMDB with a working forum AND it won't look disorganized as all hell. The thing I love most about Whiskey Media designs is how precise they are. IMDB is a great site with a lot of info on it, but it looks terrible and is a bit annoying to navigate if you don't know what you're looking for.
" Can they please just make a universal account for all their sites? >.> "Mmm, I hear you brother, but I don't know how likely that will be, or how hard would it be to rewrite all that code, I'm sure they have bigger things on their plate at the moment, how would the distribution of Wiki points work?

" @KaosAngel said:Dave has said that a universal login is coming at some point. At this point I'd guess it's going to be a nightmare to sort out, with so many different users on so many different websites, so good luck to them when they do it." " @get2sammyb said:Yep. As far as I can understand the boat has sailed for this possibility and it's absolutely gutting that they didn't consider it in advance." Awesome, the only other thing i need to live is a kickass movie site, because seriously i watch a lot of movies and tv, i could probably contribute to the site,
