Seen Some Shit - Private artwork

Hello humans!

I have recently tried to work more creatively and force myself to sit down for a couple of hours each day after work to get better at committing and gain more patience when it comes to creating silly stuff.

After 6 months i finally completed this thing, and wanted to share it with the Giant Bomb community since I do not frequent any creative forums.

The image is quite large, and some details get lost when scaling it down in this thread, so I uploaded it to Dropbox if anyone want to take a closer look.

Feel free to comment, speculate, give me any tips, or take a giant dump on my creation! Any feedback is sincerely appreciated, since I have no clue any more!

Pretty awesome stuff. The details in the "tear floods" are amazing (though I failed to see any deeper meaning in them other than video games, violence and some sort of putrid ooze. Do you hate video games?)

The artwork is great, but maybe the constellation needs something extra. I dunno, you're the artist.

I am incredibly impressed! What a great sense of composition and contrast. The use of black with the waterfalls of tears then overlaying the falls over the white border is fantastic. I love the GB bomb's expression. I'll be staring at this for a while. Very good stuff!

@christoffer: The theme i wanted to explore was pent-up ideas / thoughts / creativity / feelings breaking through from one realm to another. It is interesting that you say "hate", as I would lean more towards frustration, but not directed at video games. What is giving you a feeling of "putrid"? It is a part of my idea, but i tried to tone it down a bit.

@professoress: That movie is one of the few surviving physical copies of entertainment i have sitting 3 feet from me right now! A masterful exploration of "quantity".
