Senior Thesis about video games ????

My teacher encouraged us  to write about something your interested in.But you need at least one book as a resource on top of  regular resources.I am  huge fan of video games.However I am having serious brain fart  right now  and cant think of any topics to write about.I welcome any and all suggestions.

What is the thesis? I can't give you direction without a bit more direction. If you are interested in game design, I would recommend you look into A Theory of Fun for Game Design by Ralph Koster, Rules of Play by Katie Salen and Eric Zimmerman, and Tracy Fullerton's Game Design Workshop. If you are looking for books about video games but not about making them, I don't have as much specific advice. However, you might look into the "Further reading" segment of the Games studies Wikipedia page:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_studies#Further_reading Huh, two of the books there were coauthored by one of my professors, Noah Wardrip-Fruin.

If you're that into video games, and really think it's a good idea to write your senior thesis on the subject matter, I would think you would have at least some ideas in mind.
