Sequels That Never Happened (Movies, Games, Comics, TV, etc)

In this thread, state sequels that never happened and you wish for them to expand on. 
 
Devil May Cry 2 - I find it odd that Capcom jumped from DMC to DMC3, but alas...I still sold for a badass Dante who can fight in the city. 
 
The Matrix Sequels - I also find it odd that WB never expanded on the first Matrix movie after the huge success of the original.  Strange how they went from the original to the MMO. 
 
Code Geass R2 - There never was a second season of Code Geass.  

Matchstick men?

Star Wars Republic Commando 2. I feel like they could do so much more with a sequel, expanding the squad commands, continuing the story of your squad, and just making overall improvements to an already decent game. Probably will never happen though.

Reloaded and Revolutions actually ruined the first Matrix for me. 
 
Twisted Metal 3 and 4 never happened. 
 
Every Sonic game after S3&K.

Highlander 2 sure would've been a stupid idea, specially if they had something as inane as having the warriors be from outerspace. A tv show, more sequels, and a anime too.

I'm glad no one ever tried to cash in on the Terminator name with further sequels, that would have been horrible.

Thank god the Infinity Ward guys moved on from that style of game after 2003's Call of Duty for the PC.

Valkyrie Profile 2 ensures that the original game never happened.

OH. I was gonna say they never made that Buckaroo Bonzai sequel, but that actually never happened.

I sure wish they'd make a fourth Command and Conquer game, I want to find out what happens to Kane.

Any direct-to-DVD 'budget' sequels. Especially WarGames: The Dead Code.

A FF MMO would have been Rad! An obvious missed opportunity

And I kinda wish the newer Pokemon games expanded on the world instead of being in a new region.
