I think I am one of the uber-otakus in the GB community (and yes, i know about Anime Vice) But I had this idea.  
I watch in excess of 20 series of anime at once, as well as build model kits and collect PVC figures.
What if I was to do Previews and Reviews of Anime?
How would the GB community feel about that?

Most of the people here would probably hate it because the majority of GB users do not like anime, but I'd be interested.

Don't they have something like that on the Anime Vice website? If not go for it. I'm saying on Anime Vice. Not here because this is more of a gaming site.

Ya know, I would buy PVC figures, but they're just too expensive and I don't have the money for them right now. As for your previews and reviews, I'd read them, so I say go for it.

I have to say I'm not really interested, but if that's your outlet, far be it from me to stop you. I might not be representative of the majority of GB users. might i suggest a poll.

I'd probably ignore it, mainly because I don't have the time to get into anime. Sounds like a good idea, but keep in mind that this is coming from a gaming otaku (I've played several games entirely in Japanese AND LEARNED SOMETHING FROM THEM).

Reviewing anime is a lot harder than reviewing a game.. its hard to accurately convey what makes an anime good through words. But maybe if you take a lot of screenshots and stuff... It could be interesting.

This pretty much.  Though if the Anime is game related, that can certainly work.  It'd be more like reviewing hot dog flavored ice cream on a hot dog site.  Wait...that's rather disgusting analogy... "

Yes, you guys are right. I never thought of that. I will re-create my AV profile and go on there. But will post links here. Now must go back to research, must find out how vorcha STD made it aboard ship, very dangerous (ME2 quote)

Animes are something that I judge for myself. But I don't doubt that others would like it.

Well looks like it's going over about as  well as  the Titanic. I will post a brief review of Ookami Kakushi sometime next week after I return from a business trip.
