So I'm getting married on Saturday...

Three years ago, I met my soul mate. I never would have had the courage to even look for him if it wasn't for the support I got from the GB community, so I wanted to give you guys an update. And maybe call on your miraculous powers of spiritual healing one more time so I can survive mingling with 150 people without my anxiety bubbling to the surface.

My one piece of advice on getting over the anxiety of wedding day. Something will go wrong. But it WON'T matter if you just focus on enjoying yourself and your partner.

Congrats buddy! I'm getting married in three weeks and I'm feeling very anxious about standing in front of everyone. My weeding is only 40 people so it's quite a bit smaller than yours but I know how you're feeling!

I was pretty anxious about my wedding day. My dad showed up 2 minutes before the ceremony (without his suit on yet) and a bunch of littlr stuff happened but I don't really remwmber any of it. But as soon as it started I basically had blinders on and nothing mattered except my now husband. All the memories I have are the good things.

Congrats! If you're having a ceremony make sure to have something light to eat and drink before hand, i.e. small sandwich and a glass of water (trust me). Otherwise let those that are there to support you carry you through the day. You will not win the day or enjoy yourself if you try to tackle everything yourself. Let those around you assist and you will actually enjoy the day! Good luck and all the best to you and yours!

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! We're both lucky to have the full support of our family and friends, and everyone just kind of came together to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch (No pun originally intended, but let's roll with it. Two people actually DID get hitched)
