So Sony thinks all Canadians Speak French?

Has anyone else receive a email from   PlayStation_Network@playstation.sony.com apparently if you sign up on a Canadian Account . It's a first time I got an email from them so I was confused. Is this just a mistake on Sony's part? or is there a setting for it? 
 
EDIT: Sorry for the confusion it's the fact that they did not send it in ENGLISH at all. Probably Just A Mistake.

It depends on the company. Some companies decide to include both languages, since afterall Canada is officially bilingual (even though not all of us know French).

Yeah, it is. And as someone who lived in Canada for six years, that's the ridiculous way they do it. While I guess you could say the English one should be first, who really cares?

They send it in both in the off chance you're from Quebec or a french person.  Like how most games come with both the french and english manuals, it's just easier on their part.

Yeah, I got it as well. I thought it was spam or a virus so I removed it immediately.

Yeah, I got this message in French and thought I must have accidentally changed my language preferences. I understand french though, so I skimmed through and was perfectly ambivalent regardless of language.

Still hoping either Quebec or everything west of Ontario seperates one day so we can stop pretending to be bilingual. I get so confused at the supermarket when items are facing the French side instead of the English side.
