I also appreciate his lyrical simplicity because it recalls of a time when hip-hop was just about having fun. He's not trying to change the world; he's just trying to make some simple fun songs that people can dance to and have a good time. It's party music.

You may not like his music, but give him a break. Soulja boy does his best to make music to entertain people; just like every other musician.
