Duct tape doesnt work?
It shuts the victims up, but its the damn chainsaw that's the problem.
There are multiple ways to soundproof a room. You can get panels, wall covering, and/or insulation. Which would you prefer?
You can also do it yourself: http://www.soundproofingcompany.com/

I admire your dedication to your craft.
Baffling.
That's actually the answer, sound proof baffling. The point of it is that the sound isn't hitting a flat surface, but a surface that angles to some extent. I don't remember the exact science behind it, but it's what reduces the sound. You can buy either some proper foam ones or:

Put the egg cartons up on the wall and put a blanket up about a foot from the wall. It wont be perfect but it is a cheap way to make a room a lot more sound proof. Put a tarp down for the blood. Blood doesn't really squirt, blood splatter happens more if you slash around a lot rather than stabbing. Keep that in mind, OP.

I believe there was an episode of the Bombcast that spoke about proper kill-room setup, but I forget which. But this is correct.
Also, if at all possible, set up near a garage or carport. The less people see you carrying garbage bags to your car, the better. Otherwise, near some sort of waterway is fine.
