Alright so I am back. I went on a little vacation at home for the weekend. I went to see Watchmen. I tried seeing it on Imax but it was all sold out. But whatever, it's not like the movie needed to be seen on Imax to be enjoyed. Strek Trek and Transformers 2 on the otherhand is a must on Imax :) I guess I'll start off with a short review of the film.

Note: Never have and never will read the comics!

Pros: Story, Acting, Visual Effects(minus the cat thing), Great direction, The nude blue guy is awesome!, Perfect example of a Kantian world (ethics).
Cons: Long, Minutemen felt a little rushed, Sex scenes could have been a bit more tasteful (Not the blue guys, 'cuz that was hillarious.
I thought it was a lot better than 300. Not as good as Sin City. So if you like Sin City, you should like this too!

So that was Friday.

Saturday, however, I spent my whole day on my ass talking to my girlfriend on the phone while playing online SF4. I won a fair share of matches with Ken and Zangief. I watched Saturday Night Live w/ guest Dwayne "the rock" Johnson. I thought he was actually pretty funny.

So that was Saturday.

Sunday was quite awesome. I got the New U2 album No Line on the Horizon and it is amazing. I just listened to that all day until I had to get back to school.

Alright enough small talk. Let's get something a bit more interesting. I'm not sure if any of you guys are the younger brother like I am. I am six years apart from my older brother. He is living with his girlfriend in a pretty nice apartment right now, but they are thinking about buying a temporary home. The rent they pay for their current apartment is practically the same rent for a home. Trust me I'm going somewhere with this. It just hit me this weekend that my brother is old now. Not old in the sense that he's 30/40 or anything. I just mean that he's at the time to start actually making children and possibly buying a house instead of just thinking about that. Right now, I'm still just thinking about kids, work, wife, and a house. My brother on the other hand, is actually DOING these things. And it just blows me away to know how far my brother and I have come in such a short time.

So that's that. You know what day it is.

Creative Monday Blog!

Alright so steve's trying to beat the mile high club but fails every time. I getting better and better at street fighter but school is keeping me busy. I need to study more. U2 is fucking awesome. I need to go to more concerts. I am so full right now. Fried rice needs to be more soy saucy. the next thing ill buy is going to something for my girlfriend because I feel that most definitely deserves it. Now I need to stop keeping my laundry on the floor.

Analysis: not as exciting as the last weeks, but it will do. Probably because I'm so tired right now. Until tomorrow, take care, and have fun.

I didn't know U2 had a new album, but every time I read your blog I think of this song.

U2 blows goats, but that's just my opinion.  I heard their new album is pretty bad in comparison to their past efforts, even their releases after Zooropa.

Getting back to a positive comment for once, I'm glad you liked Watchmen.  You SHOULD read the graphic novel, but hey, to each their own.

I know. I seriously don't know why U2 is so amazing. I like them but...
My friend said Watchmen was like a porno or something and I just laughed at him.
