I don't like rap, but my guess is that the repetition makes it appealing, both the beats and the rhyming. I don't know though, like I said I don't like it.

@believer258: Yep, pretty dope as long as you don't really pay attention to the lyrics. It's pretty much a story about the "weedians."

Pretty much the one example of "Sludge Pop" right here, not even the band's other works sound similar to this album.

Yeah, I really like Om a lot. One of their other members, Matt Pike, went on to form High on Fire who also fit the theme of this thread.

I generally think bands and people who base their identity around a plant are dumb but...this song is great.

I haven't checked to see if these have been posted but just my little contribution, some of my personal favorites(I know that calling them "stoner music" is a stretch but they're just ones that personally are glorious for that kind of mindset)

As someone who fucking loves this song and this entire EP: NO WAY. This is not stoner music. This is sleep-deprived-yet-deeply-happy-on-an-empty-train-late-at-night-music.
