Is there one album that absolutely kills?  I thought I'd ask around GB since there seems to be a good mix of music enthusiasts here.

Ruff Draft is my favorite J DIlla album over all. A lot of very cool tracks, I like every song, but especially Let's Take it Back, Reckless, and Take Notice.  Guilty Simpson kills it on the last one.

All his stuff is great though.  Such a shame he died so young, he really was just getting into his music making, just starting to work with his favorite guys.  It was cool he would have guys like Common and Guilty Simpson rap on his albums, very different styles, and then hed' also work with Madlib too all at the same time.  The Champion Sound album J Dilla and Madlib did together is awesome just in its idea alone, they each produced on half the tracks and rapped on the others beats.  Real cool stuff.  That's also one I recommend.  Dilla was a real talent.

J Dilla + Madlib.  Two of the greatest producers ever, rapping over each other's beats....SHMACK!

Ruff Draft is good, but Donuts is legendary. One of my favorite albums, period.
