In my wallet, I have $15 dollars. I'm unemployed because I'm 14, DER. On my shelf, I have a stack of games I don't play anymore. I'm not sure if all together they are worth $45, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Should I go for it? Any objections?
Tempted.
I'm assuming you're trading them into Gamestop here. The PS2 games will net you very little, unfortunately. The PS3 games will fetch more, but not as much given that they're all relatively old now and the trade in value of RB1 has plummeted since the exporting option came out. I'd say anywhere between 25-30 for all of them. However, if you were hoping to buy one specific game with it you can probably get a nice trade in bonus. Again, this is all assuming you're trading into Gamestop.
Oh, and if you are trading into Gamestop, be prepared to get a lot of replies that don't help your cause at all and are mainly made by people who are bitter their old games only got them $5 each.
Nothing in there seems particularly worth keeping.
But I dunno about Rock Band... If you have the instruments for it, why sell the game?
Well, I haven't traded in a game to Gamestop for a while, now. Ever since someone in my area opened up shop (used games, ranging from Atari 2600 to X360/PS3), I've been trading in to their store. It's a nice little setup, and they give you half of what they will sell it for, which is a hell of a lot more than EB/GS will fetch you.
On to your dilemma. You won't get a very high amount for those (probably not even $45, what you would like), so just get rid of the ones you will absolutely never play again, and keep the rest. No use making a decision you'll regret.
" @Metal_Gear_Sunny said:Yes, but you should be able to make out most of what's there." @artofwar420: Are you blind, bro? "That picture quality is bad... "
Hmm, I wouldn't sell that, unless you have something really important to buy with that money. That's just too many games for too many games imo
As long as you feel comfortable with selling those games, then it's best to sell them. You might not get the money you're expecting for those games, but at least you'll get something.
I've sold games to get games myself actually. When I get money for the games that I sell, which may not be much sometimes, I make sure that I'll get a game that I absolutely know that I will like with that money.
Not necessarily, the game you plan on buying with the credit will ultimately determine if you get the bonus or not. Some offers are more specific than others. http://www.gamestop.com/gs/specialty/tradeins/" @Everyones_A_Critic: There's a bonus? Really? I didn't know that. "
" I sold all my games when I was your age and I regretted it a lot. "Same here. If you really love video games, learn from our mistakes and don't do it! You will regret it. Then again if you aren't crazy about video games, maybe you won't mind not having them anymore. It's your decision.

I'm 16 now and I'm employed. I remember being 14 and desperately wanting a job. I know how you feel.

" you are only 14? i thought you were older "I get that all the time, bro. I guess I'm younger than I sound...or..uh...type.

well of course i think you should sell these games specially if you don't play them anymore and give someone else the same enjoyment of these games that you had with them.

Anyway, I like keepin my collection just in case I want to play them. It's Murphy's Law, when you have them most of the time you wont feel like playing them, when you don't then you'll have a real itch to play them.
whoa dont do it, you might wanna play them again you never know, personally i enjoy looking at games on my shelf
Amazon usually gives you better trade-in values than Gamestop. Check below to see if there is a difference. Of course, they only offer credit, I think but if you are going to just buy more games anyway, it's a good deal.
