Best horror franchise? Yeah, maybe if you only started watching horror films three years ago.
1. Why is it spam? I posted a link to a trailer. 2. I've seen tons of horror movies in my time and I truly feel the Paranormal Activity series was the best. The original Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St. and Friday The 13th series' have all had some good movies but they've all had more bad movies than good. Chucky is alright, Saw has a couple of good movies too but they mostly suck. I think with two solid movies and hopefully a third that is good, PA is one of the best horror franchises ever.

I can't stand any of these 'found footage' sorts of horror movies. Paranormal Activity, Open Water, Rec, Cloverfield... the only thing they all did right was put me to sleep. I can see how some people would find them frightening, but they really don't do it for me.

I think the Paranormal Activities movies are pretty fuckin awesome, however "best horror movie franchise ever" is pushing it. Also, Catfish director's making this one. That's cool.
