The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

So I finished this book on Friday, and then wound up going to see the film Saturday night. Highly recommend both if you're looking for a good mystery/thriller. I'd say the book has a bit of an edge, but the movie was pretty good in its own right. Just have to be prepared that it's in Swedish with English subtitles.  Also, now I'm hearing that David Fincher is tapped to the US remake - which, while I think a Hollywood version is unnecessary, if there's going to be one, Fincher's the guy to do it. 
 
Anyhow, if you're looking for a good book or movie to go see - check it out.

I always see people on the train reading it. Though I've never heard anyone say anything about it...

I was just wondering if this book was any good a couple of days ago after seeing it on Amazon. Certainly sounds interesting, so I think I might pick it up. Isn't it part of a trilogy?

I jsut saw the movie yesterday and I must say that it was a great film. Obviously their will be some stuff lost from book to movie but the film was just well done and very tense. The first half of the film was something else....but I loved how they paralleled the stories.
 
Also they already have the second and thrid books as movies but rumors say they will come in summer.
 
Plus the hollywood movie...says David Fincher as director and Carey Mulligan as Lisbeth but that is just a rumor for her part

That still looks and sounds pretty cool, it may be worth checking out.
