Germany for third place!

Today's game has to be the most depressing game of the whole tournament. Even if you win, you're still a loser. Either way, I'm sure it'll be a far more exciting game than Sunday's final.

I hope Uruguay wins tomorrow, I'm going with a 2 - 1.

i tipped spain and netherlands even before the tournament started to go far. i'm happy with my predictions.

Why do I have a feeling that this Uruguay-Germany game will be more entertaining than the finals?

Well at least this a much more exciting match right off the bat than the last one.

Minus the fact that ABC isn't broadcasting sound, and I am forced to listen to ESPN Radio (which happens to be 1 minute behind the ABC feed) this has been a pretty enjoyable game. 
 
But it's a third place match in heavy rain, so how could it not be good?

Germany doesn't appeal for decisions enough... At least it's a more entertaining game than the Spain - Germany game was since there is no Spain to run the game into the ground.

That was an amazing play by Uruguay completly unexpected

Another great goal by Forlan but I have to say I'm getting a bit tired of him singlehandedly carrying his team.

Final will probably be a boring game. I don't think I'll get up for it this time around.

Man, that game was great. Very intense. Well-earned for Germany, though crushing at the very end for Uruguay. Kinda like what they did to Ghana. Looking forward to tomorrow's match.

As far as I can see, that was the final. Exciting, intense and well played by both sides. Can't wait to fall asleep to Spain tomorrow.

My tv lost signal like 1 hour ago,and its still no signal.Lightning broke down after a while.And its sunny outside now,but theres still no signal

Finally, I'm rooting for whatever European team is in it.  I'm not a fan of other countries and Europe seems the most American.  So go Europe! "

I feel utterly stupid to not know the world cup has a opening and closing ceremony like the Olympics.

The closing ceremony is quite good.
