I'd just be more devoted to my other hobbies. Would probably have season tickets for all my teams instead of just one.
Actually, that sounds pretty damn awesome (goes to sell all games)
THE QUESTION 2: What if video games didn't exist?
" Bobby Kotick would be poor. That is all. "That would be the best day in history lol.
@Arjuna said:" First you think I'm arguing that there were no video games before the 90s "
You flat out said video games didn't exist 15-20 years. That is a stupid and ignorant statement, but now you're trying to claim you never said it and I'm an idiot for claiming you did?" I lived through a time when video games didn't exist. It was called 15-20 years ago. "

@Arjuna said:" then you think I'm saying that kids who play MWF2 are living happy and fulfilling lives "
"No, I'm not suggesting kids that play MWF2 for six hours a day have a happy and fulfilling life. I never said that, and I never even suggested it. "
Admittedly, this one is a bit more ambiguous. It seems like you're suggesting that playing Pac-Man as much as people play Modern Warfare 2 would cause you to have a sad and lonely life, which leads me to think that you believe people who played a lot of Modern Warfare 2 do not live a sad and lonely life, but presumably the opposite. That to me is suggesting, but I'll admit that does require a leap of logic on my part." If you were a kid back then, and you were sinking as much time into "pacman" as people did with Modern Warfare 2, you would have a sad and lonely childhood. "

Are you sure your use of the English language is as sound as you think? You seem to think words don't mean what they actually mean. Saying something "didn't exist" does not in fact mean that they did exist but of an inferior quality. Maybe you should read your own words more carefully, because clearly I read them more carefully than you." I know that my use of the English language is sound, so you must be reading me wrong. Read carefully, absorb the meaning of the words; don't just mindlessly glaze your eyes over. "

" I'm glad you've mentioned that people are playing MWF2 for six yours a day though, because it's virtually unimaginable to think that a popular audience could spend that amount of time on older games. Sure, there's people playing older video games, and you are a dubious soothsayer to think that people won't be playing MWF2 in the future, but there are A LOT MORE people playing MWF2 then there are people playing older games from the eighties. Outside of a mere, quick-fix of nostalgia, playing older games is almost unbearable given the advancements in video games and gameplay. "
Maybe you've never heard of the coin shortage in Japan caused by Space Invaders? Maybe you didn't know that there was a top-10 hit single based on Pac-Man? I'm not trying to say old games are still as popular as new games are today. I'm saying old games were immensely popular in their day, as popular if not more so than popular modern games, which seems to indicates that they did not, in fact, "suck".
Yes, not many of them hold up to today's standards, if you didn't grow up playing them, some of them are hard to appreciate. But to label all games older than 15-20 years as just being so bad that they may as well not have even existed is just plain stupid. I'm sorry you can't appreciate older games as much as so many other people.
Sheesh, I guess in a world without video games I wouldn't be a virgin no more!
Apart from that, I'd sleep better, eat better, be more social, spend more time doing other hobbies like writing, reading, learning to play guitar - man, maybe I'd know more than 6 chords by now!
I guess in general I'd probably be more of an interesting human being to be around.
Oh, and without video games lame parents lame would have one less thing to blame for their kids being dicks!

" @ISuperGamerI: Me? No, I'm 22. You're probably thinking about the 13/f/fl I tried to hit on. And failed. Damn you video games! "Rofl well that entire thing was confusing, but are you male/female?
" @ISuperGamerI: I feel this question is in violation to my human rights, and that if video games didn't exist you wouldn't be asking me... but yes I'm a girl, it would be stupid to say meesa not a female, considering my profile shows I am. "I would be asking you either way and I haven't looked at your profile. I should have guessed though as I led you intro a trap in another topic, I don't know if you still remember lol.
" I'd have read more , I could have been more productive in my career and my social life . Also, I wouldn't have gained some extra pounds . Fortunately, I've already packed my ps3 to send it so my younger brother after I realized some facts . "So you're gonna quit playing video games?

When in fact I said, " I lived through a time when video games didn't exist. It was called 15-20 years ago. I mean, I was playin' vids, but... really... who are we kidding? video games when I was a kid sucked... I play more video games as an adult then I did as a kid. Thankfully. I'm talkin the 80s here.
You took me out of context. Obviously I was joking when I was saying video games didn't exist. I'm not gonna sit here and argue semantics with you. Christ, look at how much you typed. I'm just gonna assume the rest of it is a pile of nonsense and misrepresentation. oh, and I see you quoting me as saying that, 'games before the nineties should never have existed;. hahaha, dude where the fuck are you pulling this shit out of.
" @natetodamax said:I can play pretty well I thinkLol so you can be a rock star, eh? :P "" I'd be a musician or something. "
maybe playing a little more sports...
or
going out every other night and regretting it the morning after.
" Might have actually achieved something in life. Ahhh well Shit happens. "I know exactly what you mean.
I try to think about the circumstances about when and why I play games. Days, time, location and motivation etc. I doubt I'd be any more active or get things achieved. So I can only conclude that I would either watch a greater amount of TV or read and possibly masturbate a lot. I would also be a lot wealthier.
" Maybe my photography would get better. Bah, who knows! *boots up Modnation* "Haha do you have a Digital SLR camera?
