Seriously though, half of the time the people quitting don't, and the other half really will just be a blip on the radar to 99% of the community. This seems to happen every few months or so here.  That being a major blowout of some proportion occurs, people argue, I'm quitting/this place sucks now/this place has changed/I'm out of here because of this or this.....Needless drama. 
 
 So if you're bailing because of Linky, just go.  Send some PMs to whomever you must, but a long-winded/short-winded ragequit does nothing to address the reason you're so pissed off.

If our avatars bother you so much, you can piss off. A lot of people on this forum really liked Linky and it's not too much to change our avatars. If it bothers you that we have his avatar, that's a little bit sad.

If I quit the threads would I be a drop in the bucket?

So, I have no idea who this Linky person is but evidently he/she must be a martyr of religious proportions considering how people are reacting. Do you guys walk around with armbands bearing that avatar in your daily lives? Pretty soon there will be tax exemption for this organization of Linky disciples.
