Gex for the Gameboy Color... your parents must have hated you... Just kidding, I played a LOT of that game as a kid ( I remember it being aweful, though.)

Ah, Gameboy Color, how you corrupted us all. I became a nerd when I played Pitfall for the first time on my Dad's Intellivision. I was 3-years-old. And only 2 years later I said to my parents "I want to be a video game programmer when I grow up." 
nearly 15 years later and I'm signed up for school in Game Design.

It was the original NES for me. Xmas was so much fun.

I remember when I first got my Game Boy Pocket on Christmas along with Super Mario Land and Star Wars. 
 
That was when it all began for me.

I don't think I have any pictures of me playing a game, but I do have pictures of games I am playing.

Anyway, same thing happened to me. Except it was my brothers 9th birthday. I started playing his Gameboy when I was 6, and used to watch him play the Gran Turismo Demo on Demo One on the PS1. Once I started playing Gran Turismo-and I haven't stopped since.
 
The only thing thats changed is a hatred for Gran Turismo.

My Playstation (1) was my first console. I can still remember playing Rayman on that thing. Man, those were good times!

First game was that Mario Land 2? I can't remember and the seven coins. I was terrible at it, but I loved that sphinx/Egypt music that would play. I would just leave it on to hear the music.

Ahhh yes... the good ol' days.  A little thing called a Game Boy Pocket and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening sealed my fate.

I got a Game Gear when I was three, a Genesis when I was four, and I started reading comics at five. That being said, I hate Star Wars, the Sci-Fi in movie and television form( District 9 is the only exception), and all fantasy. Also, I am a huge prick.

Ah yes, the Gameboy Color did a good job of turning me into quite the little nerd too.

I  think i was about 6? a little bit after the super nintendo came out then i got the gba etc. I feel old now...I'm only 20 too :P

I'm not a nerd, I'm a geek.  And I've been one since I was born.

I was a late bloomer. Blitz: The League for PS2 did it for me.

Had an NES when I was younger.. It worked SOMETIMES..
 
Got a genesis when I was 5 with Sonic 3, Streets of Rage, and Golden axe and thats where my obsession began.

all i remember is that as a kid, whenever we're in the mall and a shiny video game box attracts me, i reach for it, my in-some-ways cheap dad tells me to forget it and... no games for me. i coulda been a gamer since i was 8, not 16 =\

duck hunt/ Mario Combo on NES when I was oh I would say 4-5 years old.

 Colossal Cave Adventure and Star Trek on the mainframe at my Dad's office, summer '77.

I've been a nerd my whole life.  :P  I've been playing games since I was two.  *no joke*

My cousin is completely responsible for my nerdness. She exposed me to:
 
1) Video games that weren't Nintendo or Disney
2) Roleplaying (both online and tabletop)
3) X-Men comics
4) The internet

Gameboy Pocket + Donkey Kong Country and the Atari 7200 of my parents are to blame.
