I'm moving in a few weeks and I'm a bit worried about how to safely pack my TV. Has anyone here ever had to do that and have some tips about what worked or didn't work?

The company I work for is handling it, they hired a moving company, but I have to pack all my stuff for the to pick it up. Things will be moved by ship.

The TV is a Samsung KS8000, I don't have the original box unfortunately. I don't want to sell it either because it's pretty new and I would probably lose a lot of money. And I like the TV a lot.

So far the only thing that came to my mind was a lot of bubble wrap and put it in a box with styrofoam, if I can find it here.

Thanks!

Places like U-Haul sell special moving boxes for tvs. They are probably a rip off, but it's an option.

Edit: google "tv moving boxes" and you'll see a few different options
