To any photographers out there

So I'm taking a photography class next year and I need a flash for it. Does anyone know if this flash works for the Sony Alpha 390 DSLR? It says it is for the sony alpha but one webiste did not include the 390 in its description. I don't want to buy it if it does work with my camera. Thanks

I'm a Nikon shooter, but if it doesn't include the specific model than I'd say it wouldn't work with it. 
 
Then again, if I could find a flash for my Nikon that was 40 dollars I'd buy the hell out of it.
