First blog post... Not really into the whole pouring my life into an online diary sort of thing... so I will just use this blog to just talk about what is going on game wise in my life... Recently unemployed from a game job, doing repairs on 360s and PS3s, as well as the other consoles... just less of them. Going to be applying at GameStop to see if they will take me in...

Always been fortunate enough to have gaming in my life. I was fairly poor as a kid so I always had an older console until I had money of my own to spend on newer systems. I had a Colecovision as a child and that was short lived. We had an Atari 2600 for a while before we got the NES with Duck Hunt. I wanted to get a SNES but never actually had one until I got one recently. My grandparents gave my brother a 64 when they first came out and we had every release title they had. We played mostly Goldeneye, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and Super Smash Bros. After a while I acquired a Dreamcast after the console died out. Played a lot of Sonic, and Grandia. I inherited 2 PS2s from my brother's father who sadly passed away. Some of my favorite moments in gaming were on that slim. Never had an original XBOX. Bought into a PS3 but sadly I had gotten jipped as I bought a retail demo unit which is a horrible burden as you cannot update any games or use most of the features without entering a security code. Sold that off and got a real PS3. I like my second gen 80GB but want a slim model as I like the smaller form factor and cooler temperature. Using Craigslist I have bought a few 360s and none of them have worked, even after repairing them. So I have 3 broken 360s in my closet. I convinced my roommate into buying the Halo Reach console and giving me his old 360 if I paid part of the cost. Was a good deal. Through the years I have had many PSPs and other handhelds which come and go with ease.

Recently been playing Halo Reach, Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 1, Move Sports Champions, Red Dead Redemption, and RagDoll Kung Fu.

Waiting for Fallout New Vegas, Star Wars Force Unleashed 2, Gran Turismo 5, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, and so many other games that would just take up paragraphs of this post.

That is all for this post. Maybe the next one will be bigger....

I can relate to your dated gaming experiences man. I'm actually totally pumped for FO:NV. I was intending on preordering off Steam, but the price jumped from $49.99 to $89.99 (what the hell?) so it's unlikely I'll be able to purchase it this month. But that's fine, I'm wasting my time on Mount & Blade: Warband. Nice blog, duder. I hope to see more in future!

Good job on your first blog. Most people throw in a one liner for the crappy quest.

@Axxol: Yeah I hate to do that kind of thing. It is like playing Viva Pinata for the gamer score. The idea of having a list of achievements is to show what you have accomplished in games. Having a bunch of weak titles next to your name just shows you like bad games. Same goes for the quests.
