I'm going to have to say that associating hoodies with criminals is rather stupid. I associate ski masks with criminals before I would associate hoodies, hoodies are a popular piece of clothing. More than half of every high school I went to people wore hoodies on a daily basis. You should not associate an item with intent, I've noticed a lot of criminals wear converse. I should beat the shit out of the next person I see wearing converse. It's a 13 year old girl, she should have known better than to wear those kinds of shoes where others could see them. Should have taken off her shoes and held them aloft as a sign of good faith as she walked through the good neighborhoods.

I haven't seen the video and I really don't plan on watching it but I will say that it's fucking disgusting that this neighborhood watch lunatic isn't in jail already.

One time me and a friend of mine were stopped by two cop cars because they happened to be driving by and according to them we were quite suspicious with our hoods up and hands in our pockets walking down a suburban street at 4 in the afternoon in the middle of winter.

Even if Trayvon was an asshole, that does not mean that some cop wannabe should have stalked him and shot him.

That 911 call was one of the most frustrating things I've listened to. If they had just done something instead of...whatever. Guess I can't say much since I wasn't there. Don't know the full situation.

I don't really see Florida as part of the traditional south which is funny when people point to the south as being the most raciest. Florida is without a doubt the worst state in the union but it gets away from that image by having Orlando around for all the tourists. People just go to Orlando and come back thinking how great Florida is. Try anywhere besides Miami or Orlando and you'll come back with a much different view of Florida.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's true, I haven't been through most of the southern states in 2 years so I can't really comment. All I know is that the south has some problems it really needs to work out if it wants to be anywhere as good as my old state, Iowa. I'm sorry if I come across as ignorant, I'm just so disappointed with the cops here when some people I know get tickets in a speed trap and get verbally assaulted but when this guy murders someone, he gets off scot free. I swear though, Florida is filled with a lot of black people that would love to destroy this guy so even if the justice system doesn't get him, someone on the street certainly will.

It's undeniably a bad situation, no doubt and you don't come off as ignorant at all. He'll get his but I think it's more important that Geraldo gets taken out of the media because I think his wannabe-whiteman aphorisms are doing a lot of damage over a longer period of time.

Geraldo Rivera is a fucking joke and has been for many years (correct me if I'm wrong but, he got his face smashed in (aka broken nose) by a group of KKK or White Power memebers on his old show for being exactly that..a fucking idiot. I take his "opinions" with a grain of salt and not even sure WHY this Fox News even invited him on the show. If you folks don't think it'll happen, I'd like to introduce you to a little thing called The L.A. Riots. Many of you may be too young to actually remember what it was like watching that...or maybe even living in/near it. However, in that case, it was a black guy getting beaten down by cops. This time, you've got a 17-year-old black kid shot to death in cold blood by a racist cocksucker. There is GOING to be some bad shit that comes from this if Zimmerman isn't brought to justice...and that muthafucker needs to pay.

Yeah, there are tons of people that die every day that don't see justice done. That's true. We all know it. However, this is a moment in time where we as a nation can actually DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I don't know. That seems like a worthwhile endeavor, to at least say we did SOMETHING to bring justice into the life of one person when we had the opportunity.

I wish the media would be more clear that this isn't a white on black crime case. Does Zimmerman look all that white to you?
