Tropic Thunder vs.Pineapple Express

I have not seen Tropic Thunder yet, (obviously not out) but I can already tell from the reviews that this film is really funny. PE was alright but not what I was looking for.... Tropic Thunder gets my vote, what do you guys think.

I've been hearing really good things about Tropic Thunder, so I will have to vote for that.

You haven't even seen TT yet and you already like it more than PE? /facepalm

I liked PE, and TT honestly looks like the sort of movie that is more fun to make than to actually watch.

Pineapple Express didn't even have its moments...  It just gave you a bit of satisfaction.

I need to see Tropic Thunder before I can decide which is better, though Pineapple Express won't be hard to beat.

TT looks better but I haven't seen TT or PE yet so I can't tell you yet....

I despise stoner comedies, and when I was dragged to see Pineapple Express, I dreaded it.  I thought the movie was crap.  Tropic Thunder looks original and fresh so hopefully it will be good.

i really enjoyed Pineapple Express but i'll see Tropic Thunder tomorrow maybe. i don't like to judge movies before i see them

PE is a movie you just gotta watch high off your ass. 

I think the reason people didn't like PE is because they didn't know what the hell they were talking about. Like one of my friends asked me "what's a 'roach'?" and the other asked me "is that really what weed looks like?"

Tropic Thunder looks like it'll be really good. I gotta see it. Hopefully it's better than Pineapple Express.

I saw Tropic Thunder at a free screen weds.. OMG I never laugh so much........BTW tom cruise is funny as hell in the movie.

Im not a fan of any of the actors in Tropic Thunder, especially Stiller and Black. I enjoyed Pineapple Express, I liked the actors.

I really enjoyed Pineapple Express. I would compare it to The 40-Year-Old Virgin, but not quite as funny. I'm looking forward to Tropic Thunder, mostly because of Robert Downey, Jr.

Tropic Thunder was better.

Tropic Thunder gets my vote. It was fantastic and it really made me laugh hard at some parts. That said, it wasn't exactly as consistent with its humor as Pineapple Express was, but Pineapple Express didn't have as many hysterical moments or anything like that. It was just a happy trip all the way through. I actually was going to post my review of Tropic Thunder in my blog like 5 days ago but I forgot my flash drive at my friends house and haven't had time to get it back lately. I might be able to get it tomorrow though...

As a person who has seen both, Pineapple Express wins. However,  the dude who is in both is good in both too. But the dude who's in the opening of Pineapple Express (same as the cop with glasses in Superbad) is NOT good in Tropic Thunder, he was quite lame actually.

I would be kinda confused though if both Will Ferrel AND Ben Stiller reinvigorated their careers in the same summer though...

idk, i looove seth rogens films, but i thought that the pineapple express was his weakest (i'm talking about the script, not his acting). i liked it but it could have been a lot better.

as for tropic thunder, i can't wait to see it.

i don't know who to vote for, i have to see tropic thunder, i don't go with reviews, considering i HATE bionic commando rearmed.

Tropic Thunder's premise is great. Stiller made a movie making fun of the movie industry in almost every way, which I think is awesome. They put in some really awesome marketing things too, I loved the fake trailers for all the movies they supposedly stared in in Tropic Thunder. My favorite has to be Rain of Madness though, it's hysterical.

Now that I've seen both, Tropic Thunder is indeed a better movie.

Tropic Thunder was ass!  Pineapple Express was way funnier people that say otherwise probably don't get the premise of the movie!
