Anyone from this village? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VsGLJGyCB8
If your family traces back to the 2 houses at start of video, or one on the right, that would be getting really funky!
@erzs: You don't have to answer this, hon!

Was born in Plymouth and moved out of Devon at a young age, but I still visit and Cockingtons a nice place, recognise those roads in the video.
My great, great grandfather was born in one of the houses there in the video, or mebbe one that was torn down next to them.
Weirdly my girlfriend (Who is also on Giant Bomb) loves Cockington and goes there every year on holiday, I came with her last year.
Do you happen to know a guy called Rick who runs the stable/carriages?
@liquidmatt: I'm in the USA. However, one of the attractions there (on the left) is called "The Forge" , a souvieneir shoppe now,no doubt. I grew up with a painting of this locale above our fireplace! We had a 100 year-old photo of it, too. My great uncle visited there in the 70s, and met peeps and researched the town.I wish I could meet Rick! Is he a Bomber , too?
@spudtastic: He isn't, just well know around the village so thought you'd know him if you lived there, I know of The Forge, interesting how you're connected to it, it's a really little place!
@Jimbo: @Jimi: I wasn't sure what to reply.. I certainly didn't mean the innuendo, and I feel kinda bad now for writing it, but the name of the village can't be avoided! Also, saying she visited would've probably been a better choice given the place is called Cockington, but y'know.
