Venture Bros. premier tonight, anyone else stoked?

Hour-long season 5 premier on Adult Swim at midnight EST...I'm so hyped. Anyone else wanna share in the hype?

Adult Swim has been hyping it up so much it's hard not to be excited.

I've never really kept up with this show, but I've watched it several times over the years and really liked what I've seen. I'm just wondering how this show has been on for 10 years and only has 5 seasons. I honestly didn't even know it was still on.

Lost interest after season 2. It felt like that was the peak.

They take a long time to write and produce seasons. Which is fine, if you ask me. I think it results in a better product.

I agree. Same goes for Metalocalypse. And their doing it with Louie as well. No new season this year so the wrting will be even better next year. It's a model I can support for comedy.

This show is really weird. I love it.

EDIT: A TF2 commercial to show off some new Venture Bros hats? Weird. This Valve-Adult Swim relationship is strange.

Especially after Valve caught [adult swim] cheating with an indie developer.

For anyone who didn't know, The Venture Bros. is now on Netflix. I've always wanted to watch this show but have only caught one or two episodes on TV back when I had cable. I'm pretty stoked to finally watch it!

Edit: After a second glance, It's only season 1 on Netflix. Oh well, maybe they'll add more over time.

This show is fantastic! So glad it's back on and it didn't disappoint, Eat The Pennies

maybe you can explain something. I do not have any negative feelings for this show, so I guess I like it and want to watch it... but I cant say i really like this show because I have no idea what is happening. The story is... non-linear? There are revelations/twists and then by the next episode, no one cares, nor is the revelation/twist explored deeper. Atleast that is how I remember it being.

How this show wasn't at least nominated for an Emmy for "Everybody Comes To Hank's", "Operation PROM" or "Self Medication" is beyond me. How is the Cleveland Show even nominated when the Venture Brothers gets snubbed?

Go watch Season 4. It's awesome. The creators even got Kevin Conroy to voice Captain Sunshine!

The Captain Sunshine episode is incredible. Conroy is a champ for letting them make fun of his bread and butter.

They frequently call back to them. Maybe not in the next episode, but at some point every major event will get referenced later on.

I like Venture Bros. cause it's one of the few Adult swim cartoons that don't look ugly as shit...... squid-billies :S

Edit: And I totally missed the premier...... Just like I missed Toonami's premiere. I'm horrible at this. :(
