1: Just finished off the last in my sixpack of Becks which my German friend got me addicted to. Now I have poured myself... Not exactly sure what it is. Mixing instructions as follows.

Serve in a tall cooler glass with ice:

Citadelle Gin Shot x2 (a recent find of mine)

A dash of lime grenadine

Fill with gingerale.

I just think the insertion of Japanese into a title makes things more comical like the prime time comedy shows in Japan do with English.

I guess for those that are curious "Hitori de nomou" （一人で飲もう） means "Let's drink alone".

Also, "Ou" form doesn't necessarily mean that I am inviting you to do something... I would translate it more to "Lets" do this, or something etc... So yes, "Lets drink alone" is a bit of a joke title.

Lime grenadine? I've never heard it referred to like that before. Mind = blown.

Since you already have all the ingredients, try my favorite drink the gimlet:

• Three parts your favorite gin
• One part Rose's Lime Juice (lime grenadine)
• Serve on-the rocks or straight up
• Garnish with lime wedge if you're feeling fancy
