By Transformers, I mean pre-1990, not the new crap.
I myself was into Ninja Turtles and I think it was better to be a Ninja Turtles fan because they had two sweet Arcade games, they like Pizza, & you could relate to them.
Which were you?
Were you a Transformers or Ninja Turtles kid?
I have never been able to watch the Transformers cartoons and the toys always seemed overly-complicated. I just wanted to smash my toys together and make karate sounds, not spend an hour reading a manual on how to turn a piece of shit car into a cheap-looking robot.
Also, pre-nineties? What the fuck are you talking about? I was two.
Fucking diehard turtles kid.
When I was like 4, apparently (as my mum often relates the story), I threw a tantrum and threatened to run away. Had my coat and shoes on by the front door, and the only thing I'd packed was a plastic tub of my turtles figures.
Thundercats... I'm old ^^
Thundercats was awesome, as was Voltron, though on topic, it's hard for me to pick between Transformers and TMNT.
Transformers. But pre-90's? Are you surea bout that?
I'd say so, yes. Beast Wars was pretty dumb, and the Michael Bay films are total shit.
Transformers/G.I. Joe. I was too old for the whole Ninja Turtles popularity explosion. I won't deny watching the children's cartoon, and I also own a couple issues of their old, super violent, B&W comic book. However, I just wasn't at the young age to appreciate it all. Now Transformers/G.I. Joe toys at the sandbox, and the cartoons/movies were a major part of my childhood. I still smirk when I recall Megatron getting banned from school, all because he transformed into a gun. Garbage Pail Kids too. I loved growing up in the seventies and eighties.
