I liked wrestling when it was good..ministry of darkness, Undertaker, Kane, Rock, HHH, kurt angle, stone cold....oh my so mannnyyy names, so many good memories. Miley cyrus is just stupid...not saying I wouldn't do stuff to her but meh..I liked the 90's shows more.
"Paul said:hahaha..dont forget the Jonas brothersI like the new stuff.
Translation :
Hannah Montana Super Fan"
"90s, and your representation of these decades is horrible"
90s had the best shows. Seinfeld, Fresh Prince, Home Improvement....today all that's on TV is junk reality TV and shows with hot girls like Paris just to attract the shallow men.
But...I don't understand what your choice of pictures is supposed to mean, especially with Hulk Hogan in there...
As the poster above put it: "90s, and your representation of these decades is horrible"

"The 80s rocked, 90s started to slow down, and today's stuff mostly blows.True, today's shows suck hard. They stopped being good after Nicktoons and Cartoon Cartoons.
There are some good shows being shown here and there, but when it comes to animation its pretty much sucks."

The three pics of Hogan shows how WWE / Hogan changed according to the era.
80s........ patriotic, larger than life character, one of americas pop culture symbols
90s........Dark, angry, against authority, NWO era
now......... Reality show star *Pukes*

I never met someone who found paris not ugly<3
We are in a golden era of television, but sadly, most people can't seem to get past the crap on the Disney Channel. Learn to watch more than just cartoons and you should be able to appreciate good television.
"xruntime said:Ah, now I get it. The OP wasn't trying to showcase the best bits of entertainment from each decade, just how they progressed. I'm an idiot and I should have payed a bit more attention to his post.

This is slightly off-topic, but what happened to all of the good cartoons on Nickelodeon? Rocket Power, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, the golden days of Spongebob, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, and Angry Beavers are all history, sadly. For the most part, those were shows that viewers of all ages could appreciate and enjoy, but today's stuff is just mindless garbage aimed at 4th graders; it's somewhat depressing.
On-topic: I'd have to say the 90's, but I don't think you guys are giving this generation of TV enough credit. Sure, there are more than should be legal amounts of Hannah Montana/Disney Channel crap and various reality shows cluttering up the airwaves, but you're overlooking gems such as The Office, Scrubs, The Colbert Report, Lost, 24, Deadliest Catch, Rescue Me, The Sopranos, Chappelle's Show, etc., etc.

those series' ran out of gas and So did Creativity.........thats why we have Hannah montana
i've never watched too much television but today we have the wire, six feet under, weeds, mr. show, south park, stewart/colbert, arrested development, etc.
i can't really complain.
Your representation of each decade is really bad. The TMNT picture you put up for the 90s was the second TMNT animated series which came out in 2003. The first (which you put for the 80s) was around from 1987-1996 (both 80s and 90s).
90s for me. It was the decade when mainstream music (radio music) was actually good, cartoons were good, and pretty much everything was good.
90s, since that was when i was at the age i watched shows, these days i don't really watch anything in particular, and kid shows are complete shit now.
