What does a colored name mean?

I already posted a thread about this, turns out it's determined by your fanboy thing. PC is white, Nintendo is Red, Sony is Blue and Microsoft is Green

PC should be orange (see the comments on articles - PC people are orange) - but on the forums it's still white, the same as neutral - not sure if this is a bug or a deliberate choice.
I added this question to my FAQ seeing as a load of posts are popping up about it.

Why do all fanboys have to be bad? Not all of us spew System-Warseque garbage, the fact is that although I like to observe industry-wide news I focus on the 360 becuase its the only system I have.
