Let's say that one of the girls (or guys) you dated back in high school became the president or a musician or an actor or something. How would you react? I mean really, what if you knew Hayley Williams back when she was in high school, before she was famous and you two were lovers? You could tell everyone you dated Hayley Williams.
What if someone you dated in high school became famous?
Any nobody would believe you. You do realise that this is a video game website yeh? Feel free to make a thread or two about gaming at some point.
Well if they don't believe you, show them pics of you two together. You and Mr. Obama before he was president and married (if you're female or gay/bi)." Any nobody would believe you. You do realise that this is a video game website yeh? Feel free to make a thread or two about gaming at some point. "
" Plus Facebook relationship statuses. It would say if you and *famous person* are/were together. "/facepalm
" I would be happy for them. "This. It wouldn't change anything for me other than my happiness for their success.
My ex is on his way to being signed, or something or another. If he gets big then fair play. But like has been said it changes nothing in my life, I wouldn't talk of it to anyone new and those who know that we used to date I doubt would make a big deal of it. I have my own self worth without having to brag about ex-boyfriends!

If they became famous, I would call them sellouts. If the became infamous, however, my heart would go out to them.
I didn't actually date anyone in high school (I came close, but in the end I was far too picky with girls), so this question wouldn't apply.
Besides, now I'm engaged to the love of my life, so I don't think I would actually care what my exes did or do.
Umm......don't know of anyone from my high school that became famous. If so, I guess it wouldn't affect me since I didn't know them in the first place.
" @Violetta: Nothing exciting would happen. I went to school with a couple of fairly well known UK musicians who im still in touch with now, doesn't mean anything really. "Carry on...
" It would probably just make me more depressed than anything else. "Yeah, talk about a missed opportunity.

" Wait... did someone in this thread say "lovers"? Hahahaha, awesome. "this. Who says "lovers"?
I don't know of any famous ppl from highschool. Seems like most of them were failures or something. I've never seen these ppl again.
It's wierd when people come up to me and ask "How was it going to highschool with yourself?" but I'd always answer "It was the greatest, deepest experience of my life." I would then go about telling everyone who I am, shouting it to the heavens, because to know me is truly, truly a great thing.
I would still eat my cereal in the morning and get to work... its like your asking for attention dude. If they were famous for a reason i respect, i might give a comment about it if someone is mentions them or sees them on tv with me.
Famous is a big word, but a guy I "dated" in high school is something of a decent musical actor right now.
I really should have dated in high school. I had some great opportunities, but at the time I guess I was too clueless to make anything happen out of it. Anyway, I went to school with a Jessica Alba. Not THE Jessica Alba, though. I still wanted to date her, just so I could say I dated Jessica Alba, but I'm not really that much of a prick.
