What is the best breakfast food?

My favorite is hands down french toast, but anything you can put maple syrup on is a okay in my book.

Eggs and bacon on toast with milk on the side is of epic proportions.

There is a serious lack of baked beans in that poll.

Omelette with cheese, bacon, sausage,  and mushrooms or green peppers(If i'm feeling cheeky)

I loooove yoghurt, and it gets even better if you mix it with some musli or oatmeal.

Oatmeal is always a good choice.

Cinnamon buns! Come on!

Eggs and sausage.

Definitely pancakes. Waffles are a close second, but I can never go wrong with pancakes.

Curry.  American bacon should be called scumslice - maybe you cook good stuff at home, but the restaurants... spew.

Eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage all wrapped in a tortilla with hot sauce...so yeah, a breakfast burrito.
 
Do people outside of North/ South America even know what a burrito is?

I am completely flabbergasted by the lack of Omelettes in this thread.

Where's the cold pizza and left over Chinese food?  Actually, I voted "oatmeal" even though I haven't had it in years.  Damn, now I want some oatmeal with cinnamon-sugar sprinkled on top and a wad of melting butter in the center.  Ah, that was my breakfast through the better part of elementary school.

Bacon or omelets are the best breakfast foods.

It wasn't an option, but Pillsbury orange danish rolls are pretty awesome. I also enjoy Cocoa Puffs a great deal, but I had to go with bacon as it was an option and bacon is pretty much the best thing in existence.

Nothing cures a hangover like a roll with bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, pudding and ketchup on it. Delicious.

Waffles make my breakfeast the best part about meal of the day.

I'm not a good breakfast person. I either have a bagel (I'm in NY. Who doesn't eat bagels here?) or a banana. I use to eat apples every morning, but eating those on my commute got a little tiring. I don't think my morning stomach would be up for what an apple has anymore anyway.

Waffles aren't the best tasting, but they're definitely the easiest to prepare and generally never disappoint.
