I definitely think the Fifa football/soccer games have improved year after year massively. I think that it's the best EA sports game because it's addicting , the graphics aren't bad and the online features are amazing.

It's a joke. :P they were "sports" like to me.
Allied Assault was part of many tournaments and for me it was a sport to play those. :P

But if I have to be serious then it's the Fifa games for sure.
Can't pick a specific one since most of they have been alright in my eyes

SSX3. The only EA sports game I've played, I think.

@Everyones_A_Critic: That game was indeed awesome but its a Midway joint, not EA Sports.

For me it would have to be NFL Street or SSX.

Either PGA Tour Golf 2 on the Megadrive or EA Hockey 94 again on the Megadrive.  Used to love my EA Sports games back then....

I am in love with SSX Blur. That game works so well with the Wii controls.

MVP 2005 for sure.  I just knew it was going to rule as soon as I saw BoSox Manny on the front.  Played the hell out of it for Xbox and cried when it wasn't playable when I got my 360.

I was a huge NBA Street fan back in the day because they seemed like the logical next step in the evolution of NBA Jam style sports games.  Does Def Jam: Fight For New York count ?  There is something really satisfying about Danny Trejo beating the shit out of Bubba Sparx or having a Free For All involving Ice T, Omar Epps, Method Man, and Slick Rick .

Showdown NBA 94 first and foremost followed closely by NHL '94.  Those were some of my most additive games and they taught me about the sport itself.  My father and grandfather taught me the rules to baseball and (American) football, but EA Sports (and ESPN) taught me about basketball and hockey.

NHL 09 is pretty much a perfect sports game to me.  I'm sure 10 and 11 are even better.

MVP baseball 2005, still the greatest sports game I've ever played. I fucking hate exclusivity deals for taking baseball away from EA. And for ruining competition. And cause...... And cause....... They're STUPID!

Fifa without a doubt. I got brought up with it so i prefer it. although the need for speed and skate franchises aren't bad either.
